Roland Stewart has more than 35 years of invaluable, hands-on experience in the real estate industry. From property identification through development, property management and asset divestiture, Roland has actively and aggressively maximized the value of his clients’ investments by focusing on the details of each transaction and relentlessly pursing a thorough understanding of the shifting dynamics of the real estate industry. These traits, instilled in those who have had the privilege of working with him, have made Paramount investments and its affiliated companies some of the fastest rising and most profitable real estate investment and development firms in Texas.
During Roland’s illustrious career, he has led several companies through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes including serving for 11 years as head of the southern region of a national commercial and residential development firm and as President of a national real estate brokerage franchise, ERA Realty USA Corporation. While at ERA Realty he assembled a top administrative and sales staff that ultimately set record sales levels. He has successfully designed, developed, and built several hundred million dollars in commercial and residential properties and personally handled the negotiation, acquisition, construction, marketing, and leasing of investment income properties that achieved returns averaging 30% annually.
As an only child to a decorated military officer, Major Albert Roland, Jr., Roland has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the U.S. attending 34 schools worldwide by the time he finished high school. Roland taught as an adjunct professor at local colleges for 10 years in the fields of Real Estate Finance, Law, Appraisal, Principal & Practices, and Investments. His passion is analyzing business deals.
Roland is a licensed Texas real estate broker and a registered general contractor. He is a member of the Texas Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and has been actively involved in the Chamber of Commerce; Rotary International; President of Metro Rotary Club, 94-95; President of Grand Prairie Industrial Development Board, 94-98; and Commissioner of Planning/Zoning, Cedar Hill, TX, 2002-2006.
He enjoys spending several weeks annually at his home in Kings Ranch North Shore & Cancun Mexico. An accomplished helicopter pilot, he enjoys flying his helicopter throughout the United States. Roland and his wife, Cheryl, have one child, their special princess, Lindsey.
