Relocated to Las Vegas in 1990 from Northern Virginia where I had been a full charge bookkeeper for General Business Services handling a variety of small businesses ranging from doctors to non-profit organizations to retailers. Started with Realty Management, Inc. (RMI), in 1991 as a Property Accountant handling up to 12 apartment communities, as well as assisting with the start up of the homeowners association (HOA) management division. Moved up to Corporate Controller in 1996 overseeing a staff as large as 14 employees handling 100+ apartment communities, both owned and fee managed. I joined RealPage Managed Services in 2008 after being offered the opportunity to start up a new venture in “outsourced property accounting”. Provided accounting for 58 properties on a fee basis, including for WestCorp Management Group.
