Scott Seegmiller is the Managing Partner of Ascent Multifamily Accounting. Scott has participated in the development, management and/or accounting of hundreds apartment communities. As the practice leader for Ascent, Scott counsels clients large and small on system implementation and building high performing financial operations. Scott was a founding partner and the Chief Financial Officer of Realty Management, Inc. which developed 25 apartment communities and grew  rm to be one of NMHC’s Top 50 property management firms in the U.S. with more than 27,000 units under management. Scott is recognized as an expert in property management technology and is widely published in real estate publications like Units, MultiFamily Executive, Multi-Housing News, and other related real estate publications and has been a frequent speaker at national real estate or accounting events or conferences. He gained significant experience as the head of Information Systems Consulting for Laventhol & Horwath, CPAs. At Laventhol & Horwath, Mr. Seegmiller developed a specialty of software project management for property management, development and construction firms. Scott spent the first four years of his career as a CPA with Deloitte. Mr. Seegmiller is an active participant in numerous professional organizations, including the Nevada Society of CPA’s, National Apartment Association and the National Multifamily Housing Council.
